Nursery Education Grant Funding
Nursery Education Funding can be claimed for all 3 year olds from the term starting after their 3rd birthday, and for all 4 year olds.
We will provide you with paperwork from Oxfordshire County Council and ask you sign it so that we can claim the funding for your child. Please note that we cannot claim grant funding without a copy of their birth certificate.
We are working with Oxfordshire County Council to provide funded places for eligible two year old children.
Funding is available for up to 15 hours per week for a maximum of 38 wks per year, subject to a maximum of 6 hours per day. Full information on the free sessions is available from a leaflet published by the Oxfordshire County Council (OCC), entitled, '15 Hours Free Early Education for three- and four year olds in Oxfordshire'.
Early years Pupil Premium
From April 2015 childcare providers are able to claim extra funding through the Early Years Pupil Premium. The aim of the funding is to further support children development, learning and care.
The setting can use the extra funding in any way we choose. This could include, for example, investing in additional training for our staff on early speech and language to help and encourage your child with their communication skills, or the purchase of specialist toys to enhance their sensory perception.
Please ask Louise Brooks for further details on eligibility and the application process.
The Nursery is part of the Early Years Partnership, and as such is regularly inspected by Ofsted to ensure that good quality childcare is provided.
